Inspired by the neighborhood restaurants of Miami, Calle Sol Latin Café & Cevicheria aims to bring fresh, bold flavors to the area. Expect vibrant ceviches, strong rum drinks, fresh pressed sandwiches and a whole lot of plantains. This is where you go when you need a tropical vacation, even for a just a couple hours.

Little Mama’s is inspired by the old classic Italian restaurants in New England from the 60s and 70s. Really well done classics, without pretense. A stiff cocktail and a bowl of fresh pasta or a knob of just-made mozzarella are the simple but elegant menu items to look out for here. But the broiled steak will bowl you over too.

A fast-casual Middle Eastern street food concept, Yafo Kitchen holds the same high culinary standards and approachable price points Charlotte food enthusiasts have come to expect from Frank Scibelli’s other restaurants. The first YAFO opened in 2016, filling a long-standing void in local Mediterranean street food. The restaurant and multicultural menu brings an elevated feel to fast-casual food through authentic breads, spreads and juices. The experience features vegetarian and vegan-friendly menu options, hormone-free selections, shawarma-spiced rotisserie chicken, hummus made from organic chickpeas and homemade items like pickled vegetables and hot mezze sides.

Israeli-born Chef Shai Fargian leads the kitchens after stints as a chef in New York City and Tel Aviv. He brings a mix of familiarity and unique flavors to the local dining scene.

We’re your neighborhood smokehouse using nothing but Cackalacky hickory hardwood and hard work to make the best barbecue around. We celebrate barbecue styles from across the country. Texas brisket, Memphis-style ribs, Kansas City burnt ends, and—of course—Carolina chopped pork from our own back yards. Barbecue is for everyone, so we can’t wait to see y’all soon.
